This is an awesome breakfast spot. While in town visiting my family, they suggested Homeskillet as they frequent here so we walked over for Sunday breakfast. Upon arriving, the place reminded me of an East Coast diner; small and efficiently run. The staff was both attentive and friendly during our visit. Upon arriving, we were greeted immediately and within 5 minutes we were seated and checking out the menu. The menu consists of several sections from standard breakfast food to egg Benedicts, to omelettes, to scrambles, etc. plus quite a few non-breakfast items (burgers, sandwiches, etc). The beverage choices included brewed coffee, teas, juices, canned sodas, etc. I went with the classic breakfast option which featured a choice of protein, 2 eggs, hash browns and toast which did not disappoint, the entire entree was tasty and hit the spot. For my protein, I went with the apple sausage and it was some of the best I've had. Also, I added a side of pancakes which were preferred perfectly. Overall, I left full and satisfied. I will definitely return whenever I'm in the area.

Food was delicious and well proportioned. Friendly service, felt like long time guests, even though it was our first visit. Cozy atmosphere, exactly what a Hometown place should feel like. A bit of a T ight fit, since I was in a wheelchair, but they were great in helping to fit me in comfortably without bothering any other customers. The "California Love" had the right amount of gooey cheese~ yummy!!~ ; had to come back the next day for another. I've had a really great, fresh Apple Fritter before but Homeskillet's Fritters beat them, hands down. Definitely recommend you stop by for breakfast or brunch when you're in the area.

Service is excellent and the food is too. Prices are very good considering how expensive everything has gotten. The place is cozy and can be bustling since they also sell donuts and coffee to go. I've been there with friends twice and we will definitely be back.

A small/ cozy place since it serves breakfast but also donuts and coffee to go. The menu had a nice variety. I had the fried egg sandwich and it was excellent. My dining companions enjoyed their meals too. We're going back this upcoming Sunday to try other menu items with (most likely) a donut appetizer. Definitely worth checking out.

Restaurant is small but worth it. Service was great. Servers came to check on us multiple times and were friendly. Started us off with drinks right away. Refilled my coffee several times. I ordered the veggie grilled cheese sandwich and added an egg to it. Only downfall is that I ordered my egg over-hard but it came out over-easy. Country potatoes are really good!

Mmm they have the best coffee and pastries. I like the casual fun vibe and the selection of sandwiches .

Homeskillet is a small donut/diner and parking and tables are extremely limited so I tend to order to-go. But overall, the food and service are always consistent and reliable, especially when you want a no-fuss breakfast. It's really hard to mess up breakfast in my opinion and this place delivers. The portions are always huge so you definitely get a bang for your buck her The woman behind the counter (I'm assuming is the owner) is always friendly and welcoming. Love supporting our local small businesses.

Grabbed a quick breakfast here with my brother before running an errand. Homeskillet is located on Veterans Blvd in RWC, close to the In-n-Out. Both the parking lot and the interior are small (in a cozy way). At the front, you're greeted by a glorious display of donuts, ranging from classic glazed to sprinkles to other breakfast-oriented pastries. I picked up a chocolate bar on the way out, which was solid: it was soft and the chocolate glaze was smooth. I ended up getting the Hashtag, which came with avocado, sour cream, and toast with your choice of eggs scrambled into a hashbrown with grilled onions and cheese. I felt like it was mainly just the cheese and onions that were scrambled into the hashbrown, with the majority of them being in the middle. The creaminess of the cheese worked well with the saltiness of the hashbrown, and I got a couple of satisfying cheese pulls. I'd recommend hitting the hashbrown with some hot sauce, because once the eggs and cheese are gone, it's a tad bit bland. The service here was quick and friendly and the portions were large for the price. If you're looking to pair donuts with something a little more substantial, check out Homeskillet!

Small breakfast cafe on Veteran's Blvd. with big menu and loads of food for all! California Love breakfast sandwich is my fav. I've ordered it so many times it etched in mind. I get it on marbled rye, excellent rye bread! They have the best breakfast sausages, too. Juicy and full of flavor. Donuts and coffee, breakfast, brunch, lunch! They've got what you want. Nice service, cute clean cafe in a small shopping center.

Such a wonderful gem in Redwood City. Seating is limited and the parking lot is small, but the food, donuts, service, and ambiance makes up for that in spades. The people who run this place are so warm and kind. The portions are generous and I guarantee you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Did I mention they have donuts? An excellent variety, for the amount of space they have. This place is well worth the visit and will surely be my local favorite brunch spot for years to come!
